40-year Celebration
I was part of a writing duo that was tapped to create installations for a mini-museum for hoop fans, inside the 63rd St beach house on Chicago's Southside, during the World Basketball Festival.
We did a boatload of research, digging through the archives at Nike, conducted street interviews with neighborhood basketball historians, then leaned on personal nostalgic inspiration, to tell the story of Nike's innovation history and the impact the brand has had on basketball culture over the past 40 years.
